my bristlenose has a cut on her side, im not sure if shes cut her self on the driftwood, or if my pleco has gotten to her. there is also a greenish almost sugar looking maybe fungus kind of thing on her nose and one of her fins, is this just her markings or is it a fungus or disease of some sort? would it be best to put her in a tank by herself to keep an eye on her? and is there anything i can put in the tank to make it more comfortable whilst she got the cut, and the fungus if is that? and if it is what can i use to cure it?
please help. sorry i cant get any pictures. her personality has also changed abit, she hides alot, were as she neva used to, this might be because of the plecos large size too.

thanks in advance ally.

For now melafix and pimafix, how deep is the wound on the fish.
Never seen green fungus would have to look it up, does come in a number of colour though but not green.

its not as deep as i thought but it still looks painful. yea irs a soft apple green colour, but looks like a fine suger spread over her nose n fin.

Is the fish flicking and rubbing like something irratating it.

no just hidding wich is unlike her, she has bearly moved, and i havnt seen her eat in a few days, wether she is eating at night i dont know. should i seperate her from the other fish?

If you can seperate her that would be good, if the fish isn't eating like you know not good news.

i have moved her into a tank of her own, and she is moving around alot witch i assume is good. i have put an algae pellet in there for her, no that she has her own, as in the big tank doesnt matter how many i put in the pleco claims it as his. i also have an angel that is missing part of its gill, theres just a big red gap, it has been like this for a few weeks, and nothings seemed to change, is there anything i can do for him?

If he's missing his gill all there is to do is add a bacterial med so it dosn't get infected.
Then he will for the rest of his life have to be kept in excellent water conditions.

The bacterial med should be fine, keep a close eye on him, as losing a part of a gill can be many things

Bacterial, fungus to parasites.

Sorry bless him R.I.P.
