Went to one of my LFS today and picked up 3 red cherry shrimp to add to my remaining 1 (the two others had originally bought have since passed). When I got home, I found out that one of them was berried :hyper:

However, I have wondered, will my betta eat any young shrimp? He's pretty laid back, but I imagine they'll make easy food with them being so small. I'm unable to set up another tank for them though, so they'll have to stick in there unfortunately.

Most fish will eat baby shrimp, some Bettas will even look on the adults as a tasty snack

He's lived with cherries since I first bought some in October and he seems fine with the adults. Pity I don't have another setup or the ability to have another setup, hopefully I'll be able to someday.

One of mine lives with shrimp & is fine with them, haven't seen any babies though

stick a load of moss in there and they may be ok, all my bettas have happily eaten any cherry shrimp :/
