I am treating my fish in my long 20g with maracyn for there fin rot and I haven't used this medicine in awhile so I was wondering if it was supposed to cloud the water or not?

Yeah, it does sometimes. Nothing to worry about :)

Maracyn is good stuff. I wouldn't worry about it harming your fish or any inverts you have.

Are you running an airstone.

No but I turned the filter up to a higher setting and they seem fine except for the fish that is constipated. What was it you said to use if they didn't eat the pea because he is now having a hard time balancing himself and he won't come to the top the eat. But when I put the peas in today some of the other fish ate them but he wouldn't touch them.

Sounds like swim bladder once it has progressed no cure, take the fish out of the tank, wet a clean cloth in tank water, wrap the fish in the cloth, place two drops of cod liver oil in the mouth, but do not feed the fish for two days, so the fish must be issolated.

Why would the fish have to be isolated just because I added two drops of cod liver oil? Could I just put him on a wet decholrnated cloth put two drops of the cod live oil and return the fish and add some stress coat to help reproduce the slime coat?

Edited; oh stupid me I see the fish must be isolated so it won't eat, now I get it. But why can't it eat for two days after the treatment?
