Is It Us Or Uk Gallon?

<-- jealous, I want to get the Juwel 450, But im still in transit between home and uni, and leaving my parents to look after the tank is a bad idea lol.

yeah im regreting buying the 260 now. i have spent 100 pounds on the accesories and medicines etc and considering the 450 was only 600 perhaps i shudda bought it. i have to say the vision range is quite aesthetically pleasing.

yeah i think it wouldnt be wise to buy that tank without being able to care for your fishes hehe

I still like to dream :hyper: The 250 is a great tank what sort of setup do you have? what little critters do you have in it? I just love all of the Juwel range, just a shame some of them are so expensive what what when you look at the basics is just some glass and wood.

its not just glass and wood really, the way they are made is pretty good quality. You also get a decent filter, heater and lighting which ill admit does need upgrading if you want to keep plants. With my package i got fine natural gravel and a thermometer so it was a good deal for £209. (Juwel Rio 125L) And i have to say it totally outshines my other tank in my room.

That's the first time I have ever seen someone rate the jewel filters. Most consider them to be an awful design which excels at accumulating detritus. You will be aware, I am sure, of the number of threads where people are doing their best to rip the filters out to improve the amount of space in the tank and to connect up a decent filter.

Also Jewel lights used to be notorious for failing, it was a known fault but Jewel were too lazy to redesign their range.
