<-- jealous, I want to get the Juwel 450, But im still in transit between home and uni, and leaving my parents to look after the tank is a bad idea lol.
I still like to dreamThe 250 is a great tank what sort of setup do you have? what little critters do you have in it? I just love all of the Juwel range, just a shame some of them are so expensive what what when you look at the basics is just some glass and wood.
That's the first time I have ever seen someone rate the jewel filters. Most consider them to be an awful design which excels at accumulating detritus. You will be aware, I am sure, of the number of threads where people are doing their best to rip the filters out to improve the amount of space in the tank and to connect up a decent filter.its not just glass and wood really, the way they are made is pretty good quality. You also get a decent filter, heater and lighting which ill admit does need upgrading if you want to keep plants. With my package i got fine natural gravel and a thermometer so it was a good deal for £209. (Juwel Rio 125L) And i have to say it totally outshines my other tank in my room.
