Is It Possible?

Hi all,

Just a quick one. Is it possible to have a shrimp only tank, and occasionally use it as a fish breeding tank (keeping the shrimp in it). Would really like a shrimp tank in addition to the 125L tank i have at the moment, but would also like to look into trying to bread some fish, so i'm thinking of just buying a small 30L tank. Or do i have to buy two tanks (one for breeding and one for the shrimp).

i think you could use it occasionally for breeding, only thing would be any adult fish in there would eat the baby shrimps, but fry and young shrimps would be ok, and once fish have moved on the shrimps would catch up, cant see a problem really, di

I have heard mixed reviews that shrimp will eat eggs while others don't. Some claim shrimp will clean off the eggs and eat the fungus/infertile ones. I've been wondering this myself as I'd like to keep come CRS in my occasional breeder tank...
