I am just hearbroken, I lost one of my beautiful angels :byebye: :byebye: It was the one that had the cropped ventral fin and "feelers" that I mentioned in my other post. I couldn't find it this morning, so I turned the lights on and the snails were having a snack

Anyway. Will my one angel be OK by itself or should I get another?

I'm still thinking about getting a school of either serpae tetras or harlequin rasboras.....

I'm going up to the lfs today too to see what they recommend...

Never mind :( I had to take my other angel back to the lfs. Turns out my rainbowfish were responsible for the other one's death - when I got home this afternoon, I saw the rainbows taking pot shots at the angel, so the angel got taken back to the store asap.

I am now NW cichled-less (except for my rams).

By the way not that it matters anymore, but yes it is okay to just have one.

Great of you (and the LFS) for taking action when you found out what was up.

Naughts rainbows...

Yeah, my lfs is just fantastic. Even though I'd had the angels for over a week and one of them died due to tank aggression (rather than disease they came with or something), the lfs gave me an even swap for the angel I returned for the 2 Sevs. ...and they both have the same selling price of $20 ea! (They were bigger angels, not little bitty ones)

Thanks David, I'll remember that if I get angels again
