Right now I have 1 male guppy and 3 white skirt tetras. My guppy seems very happy and contented right now, but I would like a few more fish like him since he's so cute, and males have incredible colors. Since I'm too much of a newbie, someone suggested having a group of all male guppys so not to deal with fry right now (maybe when I become a little more experienced). But I've also read that when putting more hten 2 males in a tank (My tank's 10 gall or 40 lt) they MAY turn agressive.

What do you guys think? I'd like to get diffrent opinions and advice before I mess up! :D

Thanks in advance for any contribution!

I have all male guppies now...and have them in my teenager fry tank...they r wonderful together...Alot of friends i have will nly have males because of there color, they don't won't any females casue there not as pretty

My daughter's ten gallon is an all male review... No agression since there are no females to get all worked up over. For me, I'm pleased with the set up as I don't have tons of fry to find tanks for.

as jams said, without the females to stir things up, you could probably do an all male tank. just keep an eye on them is all, watch for problems and be ready to remove any trouble makers
