My glo-lite tetra has a white spot on its head and its covered with cottony stuff, also same spot on dorsal fin

Is it ich? Will melafix cure it? I have to go to school and can't get to the lfs right now but maybe after school what type of medication do i need?

Quick please cus I have to leave soon thanks

How many gallons is the tank.
How many fish and which type.
Water stats in ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, and ph.
Spots which show themselves on the head can be columnaris spots, it will look like a greyish white spots, sometimes with a red circling around the edges, or red centre to the spotl.
How big is the spot just to make sure its not whitespot?
Whitespot the fish will have spots the size of a grain of salt.

Fish is an albino glo lite tetra

Tank is 15 gallons

2 scissortail tetras
3 albino glo lite tetras
1 albino cory
1 common pleco
1 guppy fry (inside a breeder net)

I dont have a test kit.

It's white, about size of 2 mm, kinda like a little oval, reminds me of a white cold sore. it has that white fuzz that you see on food that sits at the bottom when the fish dont eat it. It's only white, no red or anything. Also the stomach/bladder seems to be growing swollen (I noticed it this morning kinda big, now its even bigger) the fish is listless, just sitting in a corner. It's moving its fins rapidly (not flicking, just faster then the others) as if its having a hard time floating. The stomach is about twice the normal size. I put some melafix in this morning.

Also on other note, my albino cory is missing its feelers on the left side of its mouth, It's not an open wound or anything, just wondering if they will ever grow back? It's not really a problem, he still finds food just fine, just a little weird I thought it might grow back.

Bacterial infection.
You will need a bacterial med.
Try some cooked frozen peas.
Cook peas for a few minutes, let cool down, pop out of shell, mush into small peices and add to the tank.

Not good as they need there feelers to find food.

the white cotton stuff on the head sounds like fungus. This usually gets into damaged areas on the fish.
As mentioned by Wilder, whitespot is identified by small white spots on the body and fins.
No idea if melafix will treat fungus but I know it won't treat whitespot. If it is whitespot you will need a proper whitespot remedy.

The spots sound to big for whitespot.
How big are the spots.
Are the spots smooth.

Spot is about 3mm now, its growing over the head of the fish

What medication do I need?

Thanks!

Edit: I think the other spot on the tail is just a healing spot from an attack by a tiger barb which used to be in the tank.

Thanks. Whats the difference between one and two? I think I will just buy the plus if its just one bottle rather then one and two bottle.

Anyway the white spot on the dorsal fin is definitely just a nip wound

And the cory is doing fine with out the feeler, I was just hoping it would grow back or something
