sorry i messed up on what i wrote can some one tell me how to breed guppys is what i ment to say.

Hello, to answer your question it is actually very simple to breed guppies, first get a tank 10 gals. or bigger and fill about half of the tank with the LARGE plastic plants (you can get at any wal-mart or pet shop) then add the fish atleast one male and one female it is better and you will get better results with 3 or more females for each male though. Give it a couple of weeks and you will notice the females stomachs are getting larger and dark coloring on bottom. Wait a few more weeks and you will have fry (baby fish) but you MUST put plenty of plants in the tank for the fry to hide in or the adults will eat them. That is about the just of it, hope you enjoy raising your new fish!

P.S once they get started they will multiply faster than you can give them away.

How to breed guppys...2 females and 1 male in a 10 gallon that has been cycled. Weekly water changes and you'll have more fry than you can shake a stick at!

I'd say get three females to one male, I learned the hard way. I had two females, but one wasn't as healthy as the other, and got attacked and killed. They were both very healthy when I got them, but still, one female got attacked and killed since she was unhealthier than the other female.
