Is It Doable, Or Are People Going To Think I'm Crazy?

On January 19th, my blue crowntail, Leviathan Aspen Drake (Levi for short) will be 1 YEARS OLD! Well, I don't know if Jan. 19 is his exact birthday, but I bought him on July 19, plus he should be around 7 months old when he was sold... So...

Anyways, would it be doable to have a birthday party for Levi? Like cake and everything? Or is it not going to work out at all and my friends will stare weirdly at me for the rest of my life? O_O

People would be asked to bring a card that can be hand made or bought. I'd rather they hand make it because then they wouldn't freak out over spending money for a card for a fish. xD

And of course there will be homemade cake! =D With Levi's name frosted on it! If you've held a birthday party for your fish, please share experiences here. =) Any thoughts on the overall matter are welcome.

I really want to give Levi a birthday party at least once. I mean- he's my first betta EVER. And goodness knows he'll only have like 5 birthdays in his life at most.

Well, yes, people probably will think your crazy.

However, it is very doable and I'm sure people would go if there's the right amount of booze .

It's a nice idea. Not that Levi will know whats going on, but you should get him a nice treat like small live earthworms, fruit flies, tubifex or something else that would let him exhibit some natural behaviour .
