I just finished treatment for white spot in tropical tank. I have 2 male guppies, 2 black neons, and 1 honey gourami. The tank has been cycling for 4+ weeks. Now it appears that the gourami and the BNT have fin rot and one BHT has Septicemia. I have Maracyn and Maracyn 2. Should I now start treatment or see if things clear up on treir own. The water quality isn't the best because I didn't do any changes during Ich treatment. NH4-.5, NO2- 1.0, NO3-5.0

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If the fish have septicemia I would add maracyn 2 but it could knock your water stats even further.

Maracyn–Two
Manufacturer: Mardel
A broad-spectrum antibiotic for internal or external gram negative bacterial infections which can even be absorbed through the skin. Effective treatment of fin and tail rot, popeye, gill disease, dropsy (swollen body, protruding scales), septicemia (bleeding or red streaks on the body), secondary and internal infections. Effective even when fish won't eat.
Active ingredient: Mincycline hydrochlor.

Thanks Wilder. I very worried that the fish are going to be adversely affected by the water quality from using the meds and not being able to keep the water properly. I'm DEFINATELY learning the hard way how not to cycle! No more fish-in cycles!!!!!

I guess I have no choice but to use the Maracyn2.

Should I use the Maracyn with it to make sure there isn't anything else?

Thanks for the help.

You can use maracyn one and two to cover all bases.
