hi, i have some dwarf water lettuce in my tank, and i have just read that it is just regular water lettuce, but is not getting enough light to grow properly. is this true?

cheers

Not sure, but if your having problems with it and your located in the US, i'll take it off your hands! lol

Been looking for some for months now, no one wants to sale any to me.

I never knew there was a dwarf water lettuce.

If there is, light & CO2 is never usually a problem so you have to look at fertilisation

I think they just grow differently depending on conditions. I bought some as fairly large plants but the offspring are all fairly small but it does multiply really fast and do a good job of removing nitrate. I have to throw out about half a bucket full of the stuff every couple of weeks.

hi, yes i think it must be the same species. when it warms up a bit i'm going to try and grow some in my poly tunnel to see if it grows into proper water lettuce.

cheers :good:
