I just got my sister's fish tank because she didn't take care of it, and I think its overstocked. It's a 1.5 gallon tank with an undergravel filter. It has a Betta, an african dwarf frog, and a female guppy (her mate died).

I think the betta would be happier alone; so, can I put the Guppy in my 32 gallon with my Tiger barbs?

Boy,I dunno. :/ Tiger barbs are kind of nippy. I hope someone can help you, unfortunately I've never kept them. Best of luck. :)

well first of all kkeeping that many fish in a 1.5 gallon tank i think it torture. second wat are the mesurements of ur tank,? and u could definitly put her in there because u have 6 tiger barbs wich means that they will be too concerntrated with them selves to annoy the other fish. and give her a few hiding places

I think I'll just put her in and see how it goes. The Bettas already happier now that his light isn't on 14 hours a day and the stupid castle my sister put in is gone.

disagree with bean. how big are the barbs? mine ate any fry my mollies popped out. they also ate feeder guppies i stored in my community tank

Be cautious when putting that female in, chances are she'll be harassed and chase. I kept albino tiger barbs with guppies and it did not workout. You can take your chances(cus your 1.5 is overstocked) but it may be worse for your female. I wouldn't reccoment it.........

if u have alot of hiding pl;aces shell be fine....also put in some plants.
