hey,

I have a small 10 gallon tank for my guppy community, theres about 20/30 guppies in there, from week olds to months olds.

They always seem happy, I've just replanted the tank so it looks a bit bare...

But is 10gallons too small for this amount of guppies?

Cheers.

Once they grow up a bit. Yes. Don't know how long this takes thou. Guppies reach around 2 inches fully grown so really youve only got room for around 6. Even assuming some of your fry will die you will still have to rehome a lot of them at some point.

heh heh.. just re-homed 10+ guppies into my 50g.. Will probably have to give a few to the local pet shop.

they breed like mice! I spent ages willing my 4 guppies [originally] to breed and have more, now I can't seem to stop them..

Almost every couple of days theres a new comer. I keep doing 10% water changes per day on the small tank, although stupidly I have never bought any kind of water testing equipment, for any of my 4 tanks :/

(never had any problems though)

Paul.
