Invention Ideas!

I've been thinking of some great inventions for fish just lately! (can't remember most of them) but here goes::

- A device where you set how much water in litres you want taking out of your tank and it takes it out into a waiting bucket (I know you can probably do this already but hey!)
- A little food measuring cup that has on it little lines for the exact amount of food certain types of fish are meant to have etc. (would help eliminate overfeeding)
- Some form of automatic water changing device that you just turn on! (would make life so much easier!)

Well the last one has already been invented, they are known as "Auto Top-Up" systems.

the first thing you mention would be extremely cheap to manufacture and potentially very good. You would need to have an "in-line" device on some piping that measures how much water passes through the device, once it reaches the set limit it stops the flow.

A food measuring "cup" would be pretty much useless, you cannot ever predict how much a certain fish in a certain tank would be. It is better if people get used to how much they should be feeding themselves.

I tought of another idea, dosing ferts with auto fedder, LOL.
Do you think that an RO unit could purify the aquarium water so it could be reused, would probably save lots of money to CFC, lol.

a extremly lightwieght and non-expensive substitute to water, so when your wife decides to have a house change around you can just lift it up without breaking sweat- fish and all.

oh yeah and a little teleporting machine so the fish can swim in and teleport to somewhere else like in another tank or to the other end of a big 3000g fish tank
