 Hey all. I have five tanks. I kept telling myself after the first, that I wasn't going to get another. But I truly love keeping fish. And my two sons love them. We have three 1 gallon tanks with male bettas in each. We have a Red, Blue, and Yellow Betta. Their names were given by my 3yr old. So they are Mr. Red, Mr. Blue, and Mr. Yellow. We have a five gallon take that has 13 baby platties. Which was a total surprise to me, since I am new to keeping fish, let alone breeding. I learned quickly though, to remove the babies since they were quickly getting eaten. So we rushed to store and got another tank and seperated the babies at the time and put them in a gallon tank, until we got a ten gallon for our other fish. In our ten gallon tank we have 1 mama plattie, Beetle fish, as my son calls him, our plectocomus, three neon tetras, 8 white clouds. I really want to go to a 20 gallon soon, as our babies are now getting bigger, and I would like to put them in the 10 gallon, and our other fish in the 20 gallon. So I am looking to do this in about two months or so. Im am so glad I found this board. I have alot of questions and stories to share. And talking to someone that don't have fish, is just not the same. They get a look on their face like, how could fish be as exciting as having a dog, or cat. Anyhoo, Im glad to be a part of the group.

Hi, welcome. It's actually very exciting that your sons enjoy this with you. Children get a lot from fish keeping in my opinion. You will learn lots here.
Again, Welcome.
