Hello, I have kept community fish for several years and have recently acquired a few different varieties. I have a pea puffer in 1 tank, 2 axolotls in a another, neon tetras, red swordtails, dwarf gouramis, snails, shrimp and a bristlenose in a third, and yesterday I rescued a 10" tiger Oscar. I do have a few plants in with all fish. :)

Nice assortment! I have 2 pink axies, Lucys. The female was spawning often. I bought them from a previous owner. They’re about a year old. They are very inactive daytimes & mostly stay in the hides. Using an infrared wildlife camera, I was able to observe the male is highly active nights & the female hid. I read that spawning can severely stress the female, so I moved Sally from the 40 G to her own 20 G. She has stopped laying eggs & is gradually becoming more active. Yay!

I’d love to see photos of your crew!

Thank you! I was certain they’d tear it to shreds or I’d have to dab it with peanut butter to get their attention. Should have gone with the PB & made it look like they were kissing the axie.
😹😹
Maybe next time. TFF sometimes has a Pet of the Month contest and I always lose by a wide margin. Here’s a recent losing entry. I did dab the stuffed animal with PB.

A warm welcome to TFF. Is the oscar in a different tank than the other fish? For it's a big one...
