I caved in and decided to buy the poor little dragon puffer that had been sitting unwanted in the lfs for several months. Apparantly the staff were not sure what to do with him anyway as he kept eating all the tetras they were putting in his tank!

Anyway, here's an initial photo. As you can see, he doesn't look much different to the other dragons we have to the untrained eye. But we can tell. :D

They certainly are bizarre-looking fish. Although all puffers are known for their elasticity, dragons tend to "morph" their shape a lot more than most, almost using it as a means of propulsion. It's like they're made out of putty. :lol:
 
:wub: awwww.................... he/she is adorable, but then i'm biased, i love all puffers.............. :D

hehehe.. you spotted the dead one, eh? Smaug is particularly fond of them - he likes to bite through the plants to reach them. :D
 
I know I can always count on the Minions to show me new and interesting fish! :) Congrats he's beautiful! How big does this kind get? :thumbs:
 
I Likey the Puffer, I Liked them at work. Very Lazy Fishy.

But I Thought they Always looked Weird After they Have Eaten. Their Fat Bellys Just Hang below The Like "Kat Slater Wings" :lol: :rofl:
