Well I needed to pick up some more water conditioner for Latisha at my LFS, when a beautiful betta caught my eye. I thought he was gorgous, but I have just recently lost my fish friend Black Beard the Betta. I didn't think I was ready for another betta, so I put him back. But then I noticed that the spot where I found Rocky was the same spot where I found Black Beard last year. I don't know why I remembered that, but I knew it was a sign. Call me crazy. So I picked this LiL fellow up!
Oh! So Latisha, Black Beard's girlfriend, has the HOTTS for Rocky. As soon as she saw him she was all puffed up and showing vertical stripes. And Rocky was flaring right back! I have to put a piece of paper in between their tanks so they can't see each other! I should have called them Romeo and Juliet.
Anyway, here he is!
