Well it's great to be back in the hobby. I kept and bred freshwater tropicals 35 years ago when under gravel filters were new and revolutionary!!

I've had a long break for work, relationships and career. Yesterday however I bought my 11 year old son, Matthew, his first aquarium and I discovered that the bug and the knowledge are still in me, it's brilliant.

I look forward to catching up, glad I found this place.

Hey Malc!

Glad you found us - sounds like you have lots of experience and knowledge which are always appreciated here :D

:hi: to the forum, now watch your MTS (multiple tank syndrome) set in!

:hi: to the forum Malcolm from Cheltenham ! :D

It's always interesting to come back to a hobby when so much has changed - difficult too to try and accept and understand all the changes. New isn't always better, but with all the advances in technology and research these days, there really is a lot to learn and take in.

Nice to see another person from Cheltenham!

Welcome to the boards and if you need any local help or advice don't hesistate to PM me.

Ben

Things have changed a lot over the years. I remember when my dad kept several tanks. He had mostly UGF.
Welcome to the forum.
Hope you and Malcolm have a good time setting up his new tank.
