Interpret Filter Start Then Ammonia Instead Of Adding Fish?

After putting my filter start in can I put ammonia in instead on the fish as it says on the packet and continue dosing everyother day of the filter start along with the ammonia? Or should I start again ive put the wrong product in

Yes you can. You can also put the ammonia in without the filter start. The results will be very similar.

Others on this forum have used that without problem. I used Homebase. So long as it doesn't froth when you shake it (like a kiddy's bubble stuff) it'll be fine.
