I am warning you all to stay well clear of Interpet White Spot Treatment, I had been using it for over a week and its done nothing in fact my fish got worse and one of my Cardinals even died. I flushed out the Interpet Crap and starting to use eSHa Exit and within a day I've seen a huge improvement. Just thought would give you all the heads up in case your thinking of buying that rubbish.

I have found this also, it doesn't seem to be very effective!

you live in the UK? not sure if you can get this in the states and other places but i got a brand called King British, worked amazingly for my Betta when he had white spot

now i know to stay away from the Interpet stuff if i ever need white spot remover again :)

In the past have used Protozin which was very good but my local LFS no longer stocks it. I have also used salt which worked brilliantly but my scaleless fish and plants won’t tolerate it. So far this eSHa treatment seems good but will let you know the outcome next week. I am going to email Interpet tomorrow to let them know what a pile of crap I think there products are and I also done a quick google search only to find other people complaining about there treatments. Will post there reply back on this thread.

Thanks for providing this feedback. I'll be sure to throw out my interpet anti-whitespot treatment.

I bought a moonlight from Interpet but the sticky strip stopped working in about two weeks (it's no good around water, which isn't ideal for an aquarium light). I emailed them to complain and they said they'd take my comments on board and to return my light to where I bought it, which is a good £5 of petrol out of my way.

Interpet worked fine for me. I followed the instructions to the letter (not saying that you didn't), and it worked absolutely fine.

I would suggest that people deciding to throw away something they've spent good money on, because of the evidence of 1 or 2 people, is unwise. What does or doesn't work for one person is no indicator of whether it will or won't work for another.

If you've already bought it, don't throw it away until you've tried - it may be a waste, it may not.

If you haven't already bought it, I would recommend it, and Lex there, wouldn't. Your choice!

Great, that's the treatment I'm using at the moment :(

Don't forget that there are a lot of different strains of ich around. One might be resistant to one med, another strain could be resistant to another med entirely.
