Hello.

Could someone please tell me:
How long do the effects of Interpets Equlibrium lasts for?

Want to know because I added Equalibrium to my tank about a month ago, and it doesn't say on the box if & when to add more.

Thank you.

equilibrium salt lasts as long as you put it in for and the effect lasts as long as the salt is in the water. Say you have a ten gallon tank, you add 10 level teaspoons of salt to get .1%. This level is fine for a tonic effect. So,if after a couple of days you want to do a water change of 5 gallons then if you dont add 5 level teaspoons to the water to make up for what you have taken out then the tank will soon be salt free losing the effect of the salt on the fish.
So, when you add salt to the water going in then you are keeping the tank salted but if you dont add any new salt to the water changes then your tank will become fresh water again.
did that make sense??
