Internal parasites

What is the best UK-available treatment for internal parasites (worms)? My lfs mainly seems to do the Interpet range of medication, but I can't see that they've got one.

I had a false alarm and Bloozoo recommended this on the basis that it was the ONLY med specifically for internal parasites that was available.

Bad news is the general consensus is that they are virtually impossible to treat, but IMO worth trying to treat it rather than destroying the fish, but I'm sure someone will disagree.

Thanks a lot. It may be a false alarm, but if it is, I will try to treat the fish as she is a great favourite.

I think if caught early enough and isolated - treatments should by all means at least be tried. Yes if it comes to the point where it definitely looks hopeless by all means euthanise.

In my opinion: "it's better to have tried and failed than not to have tried at all....."

I ordered some of this stuff and it hasn't arrived yet.

EDIT:

Delivery was attempted yesterday so it's now waiting at the post offie to be collected, which will be this weekend. Best ordering some direct now.
