Internal Parasite Maybe?

im sitting in my room writing a letter to a college im trying to get into and i looked up to give my eyes a break and was looking at my tanks and notice my betta was brushing up against one of the plastic plants i forgot to take out, (which is out of my tank that now), i noticed one of her gills was red so i took her out and put her in the bowl she came in with the same water from the tank and put the bowl next to my turtles light we used and noticed in the light that she has black dots on her dorsal fin and found a couple more on her body and was wondering if its a internal parasite of some thing like that

ill try getting pictures but its hard to see with out seeing it in the light

Is your tank cycled, and what are your water changes. (schedule, and how much) to me it sounds like ammonia poisoning, I would do a 50 to 75 percent water change right now If I were you

I will when I get home and take a good picture

I just did the first water change and I haven't gotten a schedule down, I took her out and have her in a QT and I will deffiantly do a 75% water change when I get home, wedding stuff is got me busy today helping my brothers fiancé and I'm on my iPhone at the moment
My tank is cycled I'm using my old filter right now

where the foam fingers are pointing is where the black dots sorry the pictures look like crap she wouldnt sit still and kept showing me how much she hated being in the bowl i had her in
(i had football on my mind since the super bowl is coming to indiana this year..WHOOP WHOOP!! )

and also where the little cloud is where the black dots, you cant see the one insider her on her body

again sorry for the crappy pictures and for the funny looking images i dont have paint on my mac yet, only downside to owning it i miss pc's some times

Just looks like natural coloring to me. One of my fish has the same dots

sweet i always get worried bout my fish when i first notice some thing bout coloring like that when they have had it forever
