Hello.

I just got the TetraTec Ex 400. I found it was way to big and bulky for the space I have.

So I'm looking back in to internal filters.

I've come across two. The EHEIM Pick-Up filters and the TetraTec IN PLUS Internal filter.

They both seem good. The TetraTec seems to have some sort of venturi attachment at the top. Could this be used to attach Co2 airline tubing with the UP inline atomizer which is usually for external filters?

The pricing for both is reasonable and similar so that doesn't bother me.

Any thoughts on these are welcome.

Thanks for reading. :)

I have only had Eheim canister filers, never the other one you mention.  What I love about the 2 Eheims is how quiet they are.  My tank is only 4ft. from my head while I sleep and those 2 filters are silent.  Silence is golden

The external wasn't noisy, I was just silly and didn't check how big they were. Almost as big as the tank. :L

If EHEIM are quiet, that's another bonus. My tank is a foot from my head :)
