Internal Filter And External At Same End

i am using an internal and external together in a 180l tank but i wanted to know if i should have the internal at the same end of the tank as the external out pipe or should i put it at the other end of tank or will it fight against each other?

Filters will not fight against eachother, unless their inlet and outlet pipes are directly connected. I would advise that the exturnal is positioned such that its inlet and outlet are at opposit ends of the tank though, as it aids better circulation.
