Internal Fillter Removal Advice Please.

Hi,

Could anyone please advise me on the best way to remove this internal filter from my tank ? It looks well attached and feels solid (I had a little wiggle but feels secure!)

Try getting your nail under the suckers, if it doesn't budge try getting a knife behind the suckers.

Long sharp knife, cut down between the glass and the silicone and it will come away fairly easily, Ive done it on all my Juwel tanks.

It is hard to remove them sometimes, I've had trouble in the past. But yeah, just get behind the suckers and it will be easy from there on.

I have just started my first fishless cycle Now ive been put back a few days while I wait for my new filter to arrive But will be worth the wait for the fish i'm sure...

It’s all down to the right knife!!

Go to your local hardware shop and buy a pallet knife.

I tried all types and once I had the above it is dead easy!!! Get a big one as the lower suckers will need a good bit of work to remove.

I did my RIO 240 and it adds so much more space!

Also, don't use the one in the kitchen as I bent mine to pieces!!!!
