Ok Im a newbie to fishkeeping and a newbie to this site, Ive got a Juwel Trigon 190 which Ive had now for a few months tanks nice and clear, fish seem happy and all seems well...

Except I have a problem with the backing, Ive got that kind of rough plastic stuff stuck to the back of the tank, which I attached with bathroom sealent, but one edge has come undone, and now there are 3 neon tetras behind it.

So what do I do?

I dont think I can empty the tank, and keep the fish in a bucket long enought to re stick it.?

is there any kind of water proof non toxic adhesive that I could use while the fish in the tank?

Any sugestions?

Sure you can.

I had all the fish out of one of my tanks for 2 - 3 hours over the weekend while I moved it from one room to another and gave it a total overhaul.

Just make sure you keep a filter running in the bucket you are using to hold them. I also topped up the tank water I put them in with some fresh dechlorinated water.

The best non toxic waterproof adhesive is aquarium sealant. does exactly what it says on the tube
 .

BTW..... :hi: to the forums.

Thanks for the response, but doesnt the sealent take about 18 hours to set? which means having the fish in a bucket for a full day?
