I am at the moment insulating my new fish room . Should i keep a space between the insulation and the final wall covering,i am useing plastic sheeting to keep out the wet and then airtec double section.All advice welcome.

Thanks for farst reply,the structure is a timber workshop the clading on the outside is 1 inch thick standing on a concrete base.The roof is paneld with felt on the outside.
 
(filet o fish and scuba doo are far more quallified to inform you on this..)

But personaly i would insulate the walls and ceiling with kingspan or other such insulation, wrap the stud work of the walls and roof with some form of damp proof membrane then board over the top of it al with either moisture resistant plaster board or a vapor barrier board (duplex)

keeping a space between the insulation and the outer wall of the shed will help to prevent dap transfering through to the interrior
