Insect Got In Aquairum.

Hi everyone, so in my tank, a random housefly got in and was dead in my aquairum. And it was probably there for 4-6 minutes, but i got it out with a net. Are my fish risk for any diseases???

The fish should be fine

Did the fly get sprayed with bug spray before it landed on the water?
If not, don't worry about it.

Fish eat flies.

Are you 100% sure? It wont transfer any diseases to my fish right?

As long as the bug was free of pesticides (bug spray) it won't harm the fish. Seriously, fish eat flies. I used to eat flies (to freak people out at Hungry jacks and other fast food outlets). The fly won't transmit anything to the fish.

Poop, I have no idea what they land on, people, dog's ears, horse's eyes?
I know they try to go up my nose sometimes.
