was just wondering if an inline refractometer would be beneficial for monitoring the salt concentration. and if so, how much $ would be worth to spend on one for your tank?

I have a refractometer and would not run a marine tank without onenow. Very accurate. Make sure you get one that compensates for temperature. Makes life a whole lot easier when making up salt as you can do it in coldk watrer and still get the right SG.

I use one too. I don't know what you mean by "inline" though as I'v never heard of them being for constant use. you can get conductivity probes?

ste :)

OOps yes i didnt read that part. Not sure about an inline one. Cant say i have ever heard of one.
