Injured Ram?

Hi

I have a male Ram in my tank that appears to have developed a small red growth on his face. It looks a little like he cut himself shaving to be honest. Apart from this, he seems ok displaying normal behaviour, eating fine etc. Could he have scratched himself on something? If so what is the bes tcourse of action?

What are your water stats in ammonia,nitrite,nitrate,and ph, could of caught himself on something in the tank, just add abit of melafix to the tank to stop it getting infected.

Water quality is excellent, so it should heal fine, just keep an eye on it, to make sure no fungus or infection sets in, good luck.
