Fish Crazy
Last night I came home from work to find one of my Zebra Danio had taken a beating & a half.
On one side only there’s what looks like bruising on the body, half of his tale is missing & worst of all what I thought was just a bloody eye, would now seem with closer examination is actually a missing eye. I’ve got it in my Q-tank & have started treating with melafix, what else can I do?
Despite his injuries it’s moving about & eating fine, the only fish & likely suspects at it’s level of the tank are other zebra danio & some feegradie, the only other possibilities are that it crashed into the rocks I have in the tank. Presuming it pulls through what then, do I just put it back in & hope for the best?
It is a 72†24†24†tank; water chemistry is what you would consider safe according to the API test kit values with a ph of 7.5.
