Injured Cichlid ?

Hi all..

I noticed one of my fish was sitting underneath my filter on Monday and as I went for a closer look I saw that it appears to be injured, there is a big, deep hole in it's side which since does seem to have got worse. It looks very sore and it is now rubbing on my rocks. I have tried to take a picture to show, unfortunately it's not a great pic as I'm on my mobile and the fish won't stay still, but it will hopefully give you am idea..

Do you think it's been bullied too and is there anything I can do or do I just have to wait ?

Also I have taken a picture of the one I THINK may be the culprit but im not sure.. Can you have a look at the 2nd fish and tell me what you think ??

I am not up on malawi so as for the bully I have no idea, it could be a couple of things. Its an unusual place for a bite really, have you noticed any white stringy poo, or has the fish lost any weight, if so it could be an internal parasite (worm) thats damaged its anal area or the fish has damaged itself rubbing at the worm, if this is the case use some Sterazin. The other thing it could be is if the fish is female she may have caused the damage herself spawning (rock too sharp or something) in which case lots of clean water and something like melafix or esha 2000 to help the wound heal (same with a bite) Its very hard to tell from the picuture, sorry its a bit vague,
