These pics were processed to replicate the effect of using infrared filters, gives a nice eerie feeling!

This is Clontygora Court Tomb (more info at: http://www.megalithomania.com/show/site/227 a great site with details of most ancient monuments in Ireland)

From the back:

Gah! You must travel A LOT!!! Amazing pics as always.

How far do you go for these? Is this what you do for a living?

You must travel A LOT!!!

Yeah, I do travel a lot! Unfortunately I cant make a living from it though  Thanks for the compliment :) I travel around the whole island of Ireland for work and stop off at as many of these ancient sites as I can on the way (to take some pics, have some lunch and sometimes shelter from the miserable rain!) Its just a hobby of mine :) Some weekends I even manage to drag along the girlfriend (who is claustrophobic and hates small dark places, so I usually have to venture into them alone -_- )

Its amazing how many there are hidden behind the hedgerows, some are in the strangest places, I was at one last week that has now become part of the rockery in someones front garden!!

They arent very well looked after and even compared to old photos lots of them have deteriorated, I guess I just want to capture whats left of them for my kids and grandkids...

Well tell the misses we sure appreciate your pictures around here  too bad they aren't looked after properly :/
