I am so thankful for this forum, I had no idea how clueless I was!! I was never trilled with the idea of tanks. but when i was given a 60g one and went to look up the ph for the fish i had just bought, I saw the puffers and fell in love with the idea of having one, Now I know what i have, < 3 tiger barbs, one tyre eel, one silver shark one catfish and a pucostaus>> what NOT to do, < thanks Anna>>and I have a new hobby!! I can sit here reading all the post for hours and not even realize it. The only problem is I think this fish thing can get adictive and expensive. But there so much fun to watch ! I wanted to thank everyone for the time they put into this wonderful site, And many others too !! I have been told I am obsest with my new tank, but thats only becuase there is so many thing to know, I hope my fish make it thur the fish cycle thing, But anyway back to my researching! thanks,,

:hi: to the forum.

Lucky... getting a 60 gallon tank for free. I suppose my 45 gallon tank wasn't that bad, though, but the extra 15 gallons still makes me envious. :p

Yes, this hobby can get rather expensive, and unles you are like me and unable to expand on the hobby (through various investments of money), you might get bored after a few years. But, then again, there are still oh so many endeavors that only require two fish and a ten gallon tank. ;)

Anyways, glad to have you with us, and glad to see you are doing research and gfetting into the hobby. :D
