Info On Girls

I have 3 girls, 1 I have had ages. The one I got Saturday is pretty but she is still very stripey. Eating and coming to see me but I though the stress stripes would disappear, definitely not breeding stripes. Shouldn't they be gone by now?

One of my girls is always very stripey, shes as far as I can tell very happy though.

It took my female betta about three weeks for her stress stipes to go away. She just has to get used to you and her new surroundings. I've also noticed that whenever I cut on my lamp (or other bright light) she gets stress stripes and a little after I cut it off they go away. There might be something around her that's freaking her out so look around to see what it could be.

I've had a few girls over the years who would stress out over anything and everything. If she seems happy and healthy then I don't think there's really anything to worry about.

thanks...gonna split a tank this weekend if I can get to the shop for the canvas stuff so she can go somewhere else!
