Anyone know a good URL with some good info on Convict Cichlids? I'd appreciate it if you could give me a few. Thanks.

Convict cichlid (Cichlasoma nigrofasciatum)
Comes from South America and tolerates all sorts of water conditions. Temperature between 20-30C.
Grows to about 6 inches for males and a bit smaller for females.
Very easy to breed. Males have longer pointed fins and females have shorter more rounded fins. Females also get an orange belly. Put a pr in a tank and they will breed.
Will eat any sort of fish food offered.
Dig a bit and will uproot plants.
Reasonably peaceful for a cichlid but will harass other fish during breeding, which is pretty much all the time.

No reinforcment necessary I know they are easy to breed. I was just looking for something to read on them.

Is quite a good read, though a big bit of it is how to use convicts for feeders.
