Info on Cons

im lookin 2 startt my 1st cichlid tank, im looking for as much info on cons as i can get. do they come in diff colours? their water quality..... how to do a rock formation? i hear that their behavious is extremely interesting. they would be going into a 29 gal tank. any help or web sites would b greatly apreciated. thanx

threre are two color variations of cons, blue and pink blue has bars and pink doesnt, cons are quite agressive and can grow to 5-6 inches, you could keep a pair in a 29 gallon, they are not too fussy about water conditions

thanks, can i add anything else w them? i know of their agression. i have a bristle nose that lives n there, he owns the bog wood lol. i cnat wait 2 get these guys

If the Bristle nose is a good size you should be ok, I had a pair of cons with a pair of BNs and there was no problems, infact the bristlenoses were breeding more than the cons
