Info Needed On Treating For Skinny Disease

hi, i bought 2 polka dot loaches a while back one seems nice and fat and the other is really skinny so i have bought some treatment for skinny disease ( waterlife, sterazin)
the problem ive got is it says not to be used with shrimps and i have 5 in my tank,
i have no where to put them whilst i treat the tank apart from a bucket, do you think that they would stay alive in a bucket for 10 days doing a slight water change every day, if not then they will have to become food for my puffer

Shrimp do pretty well in any environment. However make sure they have a tight lid as they can escape quite well usually. Are you sure it has "skinny Disease" and just isn't that the fish hasn't eaten for a while? Try feeding him some great food that can help fatten him up maybe too.
