Infected Fish! Please Help!

I was given a 7in flowerhorn and noticed a small spot on his side after I brought him home. He has been eating fine and active, but it has gotten larger and I'm very concerned about it. I tried searching online for what it might be and couldn't find anything. I really don't want the fish to die and was wondering if anyone knows what it is and how to remedy it. The tank is fully cycled and I do a water change about every 2 weeks. I have attached a picture of the spot in question. Please help me! Thanks!
