Hello there, I thought I would introduce myself to the group
I've had tanks with gold fish and betas for over 15 years, but I have recently started a tropical tank. I consider myself a beginner and I invite any and all advice that anyone can give to help. I currently do not have any fish, I am cycling my tank and making sure that it is safe for the fish. I have a 40 gallon tank with all the equipment (heater, hood, pump etc) I would like to have angelfish, and possibly rainbow shark and an algae eater. I know I can't have more than one shark, but I'm still trying to figure out if I can mix shark and angelfish. So far the pet stores have all told me yes as long as I put them in at the same time. BUT, I'm here and I"m doing research to make sure.. I look forward to learning from this forum!
