Do you use them with your Betta's? I totally forgot I ordered these last week & they have just arrived, I brought them as I read they can help the betta's to heal after spawning. Do they have other benefits to the Betta? Are they good for the fry tank?

Do you just pop them in, or do you weight them down with something?

i just pop mine in - remember to remove your carbon and let the tannins leach out into the tank - makes the tank go a lovely tea colour
meant to keep the fish healthy , i know my wild bettas need it but i now have it in all my tanks even betta free ones
some are weighed down and some are free floating

Im planning on getting some, but at the moment im using blackwater extract in my tanks x

IAL is great for healing and it also helps to reduce stress. We always pop a very small piece in their bags when shipping. It's also good to use in the spawning tank as it can help to keep the males bubblenest together.
