Indeed.. At Least One Of My Mollies Was Pregnant!

Well a few days ago I wrote about my mollies, coz I didn't know if they were pregnan or not.. it turns out that at least the bigger one, was!! now I have little fry .. unfortunately, my mom saw when the mother ate one of them, so I hope she doesn't eat them all

I have them in a 20lt tank with plants and a rock where fry can hide, I'm gonna take the mom out until tomorrow, coz I'm not sure shes done yet delivering her babies

I'm really happy coz this is my first, but i'm also worried coz I don't know if they'll survive

so, any advice or criticism will be welcome!.. I'll try to take some photos and post them as soon as I can

congrats on the fry, as long as there are hiding places they should be safe from mum, you can feed them on finely crushed flake with a varityof other food too, like veg or live food, or special fry food, i tend to feed mine flake then the odd pea or peice of cucumber now and then

thanx! i already try to feed them with some crushed flake, but it seems they're not hungry yet.. i've seen them sucking the plants though, so I hope they start to eat soon..


so far I've seen around 8 babies.. they're so cute!! the mom is already in the bigger tank, I think the male missed her coz now he's all over her

how many females do you have, ideally there should be atleast 2 females to 1 male to avoid him stressing her out to much

yeah, I've got two females.. and the other one is pregnant too

haha so that will be more fry on the way, you'll be needing a bigger tank before your know it

hehe.. yeah, I started to save some money to buy a bigger one... I wanna see my mom's face when I tell her i'm getting another one

mine was the same, but we did endup getting one, but then we had to sell most ofour guppy juvis, we had over 100 at this point, now have about 30
