caffeine thought of the day... I have a couple small fans I usually turn on for my plants above the tanks during the summer, it seems to keep them drier, and seems to reduce the accumulation of flys... but the tanks with the fans closest, seem to evaporate more water during the week... that light breeze blowing across the open tank surely must also increase oxygenation being the hob filter water falls are exposed to the air movement, and the whole surface of the tank... in order for the water to evaporate faster, it must be mixing with the air at a higher rate... I never really put that together, but anything we do to aerate the tank, must increase evaporation, so the two are directly related???
