My female guppie, whom I stayed up all night for the past two weeks, to see if she will give birth, again.
The first week noticed a baby fry in tank and found out that she is pregnant, so waited to see if anymore...but, none came.
I read somewhere that she could give birth again a week later....so, I did the usual thing...which was kept an eye on her, fed her, kept her warm.
Was about to give up, but, yesterday, after arriving home from the pet store and checking up on her....to my surprise, she thinned down.
I kept looking to see if there were any fry around, but none. For a minute, I was upset that she ate them....but, later noticed that there were some clumps of I don't know what in the tank...small, tiny clumps....can't really explain, but, wondered if she had miscarried. If someone had anything similar to this happen to them....can you help me.
Thank you!!! :-(

It's possible she aborted fry from stress. Are they kind of small, ballish shaped clumps? Or is it possible they are just un-eaten food? What other fish do you have in the tank, and what are the current water params?

When my daughter lived with us, one of her females had a brood where most of them didn't swim, they stayed as round little balls and sank to the bottom of the tank. Of course the other fish ate them pronto. That female guppy had healthy broods before and after that defective brood. So I am thinking do not give up hope, she'll very likely have healthy babies in future.
