I've had such a rough summer that I never got a chance to properly pay tribute to all of the fish I lost over the last 4 months. I lost so many fish this summer it broke my heart and I was all set to give up bettas for good. But I decided that giving up wouldn't solve anything and i needed to forge ahead and continue to take care of these animals that i love so much. so this is a tribute to all of those who were lost in the past 4 months. May they all rest in piece.


Lemon - passed away due to old age at the age of 3

Oreo - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Boomer - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Butters - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Shamrock - lost to a long battle with internal parasites

Peter Pan - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Bonphyre - Lost to unknown causes, was fine one day and gone the next

Isabel - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Itsy Bitsy - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Royal - lost in the colmunaris outbreak

Sage - Lost to a 6 month battle with reoccuring bactieral infections

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of beta was Butters? A crowntail?
I don't know much about different breeds.
We usually only get the most common type of betas (not sure what thye are called), I have only ever seen one crown tail here.

i believe Butters is HM or halfmoon and the common ones you are reffering to are VTs or veiltails like the red guy in my sig
