Hello all my fellow fish lovers! :D

I have had my Tank for 2 months now and all are doing very well thx to FF its just im not satisfied with my tanks look.

If anybody have any ideas? :/

Thinking of adding sand with gravel together or just replacing gravel totally with sand.Should i get more plants to fill it up at the back?Im going to be free this saterday so I can spend some time again on the tank other than sitting hours watching it and feeding the fish.Maybe add rocks?

My tank is 60 x 30 x 30 CM = About 60 litres.I have Mollies, BS Tetras, Neon Tetras, Swort tale, Algi eater, YoYo loach and Corys.Currently have artificial rock same color as the gravel. Also have about 4 plants. The one at the back is growing very fast and spreading.I have normal daylight bulp aswell as Purple colored light that i got from petshop and that I payed allot for.Dont know the name sorry.Maybe different lights?

Any ideas will be welcome. :fun:

Thank you so much!

yea what is your lighting set up?

change the lighting if u dont use a fluorescent bulb or bulbs. and then see wat u think

Thx for reply. :good:

Well ive got one Light Mounted as any normal aqurium have.I bought it from the LFS and its one of those fancy things. Its light purple in collor and brings out fish colors and good for plants. ( LFS TOLD ME THAT )Its as little dark just with that light so what if done is custom installed a normal Light saver bulp exstra that gives normal light and improved it allot. What tipe of lights you have in mind?

Any ideas on adding more plants or any thing ells?

Thx!! :D

how about removing half of your gravel and replace it with sand and mix it slightly :) i have the same gravel and it looks good mixed :good:

Replace it with sand, black sand if you can, looks really nice, put a black background on if you haven't already (Can't really tell). Get some nice thick bushy plants to put in the back corners, and create a nice lush carpet of some sort in the middle. Also, top up your water to the black line, trust me it makes alot of a difference!
