Hi

I have recently sent off for my importing licence, know I am looking for some places to import from.

Does anyone know of, or are there any breeders on the forum who are willing to ship to U.K?

your help as always a god send

many thanx

If this is what you are talking about, you can head on over to www.aquabid.com and there are plenty of people willing to ship internationally. All types of fish, all over the world!

:D

No, but if they are being shipped internationally they have to go through someone who does have a license first, thus the use of transshippers on Aquabid. The seller ships to them, they take care of the paperwork and signing for the fish, then ship them on to you :D

Thats really really cool lvlyldyuk, how much work is it to get the license? Like bettas4ever said, check on Aquabid... maybe you could even set up your own little transshipping business!

Hmm, you're in Hampshire :shifty: *sits and plots*

hi

getting a licence is free. go to
www.efishbusiness.co.uk
then go to forms and guides, find form DOF7
Print it off, fill it in, send it off.
lady over the phone says they normaly take 10 working days to come.
main problem i see is that customs make you pay for checking and vetting fish. dunno how much that costs, gonna find out morow.
other idea is to go to place on a day or two trip pick up fish b4 u head off back to plane.

hmmmm my own trans shipping business, on top of breeding and a card making club, kids, n a husband, lol dunno bit 2 much to cope with. will think bout it.

OohFeeshy, wot u plotting?lol

Nothing, nothing :sly:  . You might want to ask some of the sellers on Aquabid, now that would be good. People would be interested in fish from there, not just bettas.

Depends on how many you brin in the more the less its cost but around £120.00 each shipment, the vets bill for the bip is £5.00 is the freight and handling cost that make it high and vat on the cost of the fish
